"Our lives are filled with opportunities for do-overs”.
Things do not always go as planned and we have the opportunity to learn from them and to try again.
God is at work in our hearts during these times-the key is for us to take full advantage of growing more into the likeness of Jesus.

14. A Clean Finish

God uses the heat and pressures of life to expose areas of sin in our lives, both what is visible to others as well as the secret sins in our hearts.
Keeping our hearts clean before the Lord, in each step of the process, is what produces the sweetest fruit in our lives.

In sweet times of victory, it is more important than ever to make sure our worship is directed toward God in order to avoid pitfalls that lie ahead.

When enemies come against us in these seasons, we can trust God for the victory.

Canning peaches is a process that cannot be rushed nor can steps be missed if your goal is to enjoy their sweetness in the dead of winter.
David’s journey from being a shepherd to becoming the King of Israel was a process as well.
There are many lessons for us to learn for our lives as we study the parallels between the two.

The life and health of a plant is determined by the branches staying connected to the vine.
Everything that we need to navigate transition, individually as well as with one another, is found in our ability to remain connected to our life source, Jesus Christ.

It is so hard to understand our present circumstances because we have been living with so many unknowns.
God has a much broader perspective of this moment, right now. Trusting this truth can really help us navigate transition.

5. Extending Grace During Transition

Seasons of transition can be unsettling for all of us.
Each person’s perspective is unique to them; we may not relate to how they are processing transition, but we do need to extend grace towards them.
We should remember to try to gain an understanding from their view.
