The truth is that walking with Jesus does not keep us from experiencing storms in life. The disciples were with Jesus in a boat when a great storm arose. Fear gripped them as they ran to the Lord. What Jesus speaks to the storm is peace, but what He speaks to the disciples is something that will change our perspective and alleviate our fears.

Interestingly enough, when we come into a struggle, we often wonder where God is and we go looking for Him again. God says in His Word that if you seek me, you will find me, if you seek me with your whole heart. The qualifier on the end is the secret to finding God in every moment of our stories.
