Nothing can test our grip on our plans quite like a change in our plans! God will sudden shifts in schedules and expectations to reveal who is Lord of our plans. One of the best ways we can prepare to handle changing plans in a godly manner is to make sure we are abiding in the Lord. The closer we are to Him, the more we can discern His perspective and respond appropriately.

Being present in the now is where we are to dwell if we want to live lives that are free and emotionally healthy. Our perspective on our past, present and future must align with God’s perspective.
